#78 Exciting Announcement: Now You Can Listen!

I am excited to announce that my book: Changing How we Think About Difficult Patients is now available in an audiobook format through Audible. The publisher, American Association for Physician Leadership, was able to obtain the very professional services of Susan Bennett.  Ms. Bennett is an Earphones Award-winning and Audie-nominated narrator and has an extensive career as a vocal artist. I feel very fortunate to have her narrate my book.

I am deeply touched by friends and acquaintances who have suggested that I should narrate the audio version of my book myself. My dear friend once told my that my voice sounds like Ina Garten, of Barefoot Contessa fame. She is not wrong. I spent years developing my central NJ accent and thirty-two years in Virginia has not softened it.  Like so many areas in life, I believed this endeavor would be best served by the services of a professional.  I hope that you will agree.

The title is available through Amazon and Audible at a very nice and accessible price of fifteen bucks.  The running time on the audio is just under four hours. For many healthcare professionals who struggle to find extra time to read, here is a truly useful, game-changing message to hear as you commute to or from work. We can do so much better in the difficult interactions we have with some of our patients.
